The recovery of globalization will be determined by the period the pandemic lasts and the damage of other pandemics in the future. The effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the strategies of globalization are explained using four mechanisms (Yilmazkuday, 2020). They include buyer attitude, critical stakeholders’ mindset, business globalization economics, and national government behavior. These strategies will also aid in the recovery of globalization in years to come.
In conclusion, the Covid-19 pandemic is genuinely the most significant peacetime disruptor of globalization in the history of the modern world, and due to its’ effects, globalization will have a hard time recovering, but eventually, it will pick up. The recovery, however, depends on the period the pandemic will last and the threats of future pandemics. Therefore, the government of the affected states should be ready for such occurrences. They will reduce the effects of such pandemics and will not reverse globalization as much as it was during covid-19.
