As far as they are concerned at that moment in time, they are the only folks in the world that need someones attention. It is just basic human nature to think in this manner. You will learn very quickly that you must maintain a continual communication dialogue with your potential clients and customers every step of the way.
Another very important aspect of the Real Estate business is to always stay abreast of the market conditions in your area and up to date on the inventory available. You want to project the fact that you are the expert in your field of work and you need to be just that. Once potential clients and customers understand your knowledge of the Real Estate market, they will have the desire to work with you. This initial relationship will establish the foundation that will sustain your growth as a successful Real Estate agent.
The last thing I want to leave you with is to always maintain a consistent communication channel with either your buyers or sellers. If you are marketing a property, it is imperative to have regular communication with your sellers regardless of the activity on the property. In their minds, the only property on the market for sale is their property. Silence is not golden in this instance. As far as your purchasers are concerned, it is just natural to be thinking that there is another property out there somewhere that we haven’t looked at yet. I believe it is super important to update your potential purchasers quite often as to the status of the current inventory on the market.
