An Arab Muslim Reckoning With Racism

Un-HolyLand? An Arab Muslim Reckoning With Racism
Global: 1)You have to learn to put sentences together in a way that makes sense. You seem to have a reasonable command of English but your sentence structure and word choice is not good. I cannot rewrite your assignments I can only point out prose that do not make sense. I have highlighted portions below that need to be revised. You might try reading your sentences out loud to yourself or someone else who might give you feedback.
2) Avoid repeating yourself. Try to find new ideas about the story-line. This is very repetitious.

After listening to the story regarding the business of Majdi Wadi, one can conclude that the punishment that he gave to his daughter did not fit the crime that she had committed, although the offense to escape from imprisonment was against the country’s law. (? Revise)Besides, Lianne getting fired was not a good idea because it may not have saved the company’s reputation as they solve the scandal (revise). The punishment involving murder considering racial differences is unfair. (revise The punishment for murder in cases based on race is unfair. The blacks were thus able to react in their opinions (revise) concerning the murder case of George Floyd, which the police officers performed (Npr.org., 2020) (revise). To cut off life from an individual who committed an offense about because of racial factors wasis the worst mistake by thea policemaen can make. B The blacks protestors were swift when George Floyd was maltreatedmurdered in the absence of the citizens who could come to his rescue (?Revise). Therefore, I think the punishment should follow the country’s laws without favoritism and racial differences in a nation.
No one should be held responsible for the posts made when they were teenagers. because of Yyouths like socializing and often makeing comments without thinking of the consequences of followingfrom their posts on social media in the future. The best to do is training (revise) and educating them to behave themselves and make alternatives in their choices of posts for public view (revise). This is because itPoor choices may lead them to either lose job opportunities as it happened to Lianne. The case described should be posted in the media to enable people to learn from itto fit in every society and adhere to a given country’s laws. (revise) Lianne posted an apology saying she does not believe she wrote such an offense as a teenager and that she was sorry (revise) (Npr.org., 2020). This is because sheShe should not be held responsible for posts that she made while she was still a teenager. It is expected that asAs people grow, their perceptions of the world also begin changing, and they become more accommodating of to the aspects of life that they once perceived as wrong. As such, punishing her because of a mistake or crime that they committed while they were teenagers by firing them does not seem to be the right way to go about the issue.
Moreover, I found Majdi Wadi’s desire to be part of the solution quite convincing. This is because it shows he is interested in fixing the damage that his daughter had brought about to the company and community.T Moreover, the reason as to why I find it more convincing is that he took action by firing his own daughter and by asking for assistance from El-Amin to help find a proper solution to the issue in the time of the crisis. This shows how convincing he is in his plan to be part of the solution. Besides, his recommendations to find solutions are convincing since he strived to save the family’s reputation and work to amend the damage created (revise?). Holding her responsible for something she did when she was a teenager, which could have been out of peer pressure and other things that stir up teenagers’ trouble, is appropriate. (or inappropriate?-you just said you didnt think it was right for teenagers to be held responsible) Young people do things that they, later on, do not like, especially after they grow up. That post was many years ago, and she is a different person now. (this is redundant).
Lastly, I do not think that Majdi Wadi was a racist considering the actions that he was takingtook to help solve the issue. This is because, ifIf he was a racist, he would not have considered firing his daughter for the anti-Black and anti-Semitic posts that she had on social media and would have instead taken a more dismissive action. Moreover, seeking help from Muslims of other races clearly defies his stand on the issue of racism. Additionally, I would not consider her daughter a racist, especially after the apology and the claim that she supports the movement “Black lives matter” (Npr.org., 2020). Lastly, Majdi Wadis was not a racist since he could look for possible solutions to the damages done, portraying his positive traits against racism and called for union collaborators to attain racial justice.
