Bad Diet and Exercise Habits: An unhealthy and unbalanced diet with a lot of salt can increase your blood pressure and cause numerous problems. An inactive lifestyle without regular exercise can also effect blood circulation. It is important to eat healthy and exercise at least 4 times a week.
Tobacco and Alcohol: Nicotine is very bad for the entire cardiovascular system and it is present in cigarettes. Smoking can cause the blood vessels to constrict and increase blood pressure. Extreme alcohol consumption is also bad for the system and it is necessary to control the consumption to a couple of drinks once in a while.
