My most significant learning achievement was understanding corporate strategy must not only define the product and business direction (business, market and financial goals) but also what a firm has to do to achieve these goals. What resources must invest to and how to organize them. What peoples skill profiles need, which competencies must be developed and how they must be used to develop the business.There is no ‘one and done’ strategy that will work in all situations for every business all companies operate differently will be more successful in some environments than others. Thus, It is important to recognize and understand different strategy including the situations in which they work best and employees need to be more focused and aware of the practical step-by-step actions that will move the organizational goals forward, and managers need to manage this process. Everyone’s daily and weekly focus should be on the very specific tasks they need to achieve to move their goals forward.Increasingly, Corporate Strategic Management has become crucial in the world of business and the ever uncertain environment and fast-changing world in which we live and work.The primary purpose of the Corporate Strategic Management course learnt how to perform analysis, planning and provide recommendations.
